This 2-hour webinar will examine this process as an end-of-life choice, exploring moral, medical and legal issues that arise for patients, and their families and providers. Although this webinar is intended primarily for those in the medical field, we welcome community participation.

Learning Objectives:

After this education, learners should be able to:

  1. Define VSED and processes involved, including specific implementation steps recommended for providers.

  2. Describe moral, ethical and legal questions surrounding this choice.

  3. Explain appropriate referral processes.
